What are low-foaming surfactants?

Low-foam surfactants are surfactants that produce minimal or no foam when used in institutional or industrial cleaning processes. These surfactants are designed to reduce foam formation while still being able to reduce surface tension, facilitate wetting and cleaning of surfaces.
