Lutensol® XP Series

(C10 Guerbet alcohol ethoxylates engineered for fast wetting and high-performance degreasing)

XP grades are based on mono-branched C10 alcohols, enabling low dynamic surface tension, rapid spreading, and faster soil removal vs. linear alcohol ethoxylates.

XP 30 / 40: Low EO, high activity grades designed for very fast wetting and rapid soil lift. Ideal where surface coverage and kinetics dominate performance, e.g. sprays, APCs, cold-water applications.
XP 50 / 70: Balanced EO range delivering strong grease cutting combined with effective soil dispersion. Provides good suspension of oily soils, minimizing redeposition in both hard surface and laundry applications.
XP 70 / 79: Same EO level offered in different physical forms, including high-active aqueous solutions, enabling formulation flexibility without sacrificing performance. Maintains consistent degreasing with stable wetting and controlled foam.
XP 89 / 90: High EO grades for robust cleaning across a wide range of conditions, including dilution, temperature variation, and complex soil matrices. Deliver strong detergency with improved compatibility and solubilization.

Lutensol® XL Series

(C10 Guerbet alcohol alkoxylates designed for enhanced wetting, solubilization, and controlled foam)

Compared to XP, XL grades introduce alkoxylation (EO/PO tailoring), improving solubilization, odor profile, and formulation robustness, while maintaining excellent wetting and dynamic performance.

XL 40: Lower EO alkoxylate delivering rapid spreading and efficient wetting, particularly effective for hard surface cleaning and spray applications where quick surface coverage is critical.
XL 50 / 70: Mid-range EO providing balanced detergency with strong emulsification of oils and soils. Offers improved compatibility with complex formulations and contributes to stable, broad-spectrum cleaning performance.
XL 70 / 79: Same EO level available in different product forms, enabling formulation flexibility without performance trade-offs. Maintains consistent wetting, emulsification, and low foam behavior across systems.
XL 90 / 100: High EO alkoxylates delivering strong solubilization capacity and controlled foam, ideal for clear formulations, fragrance solubilization, and demanding cleaning systems requiring high stability.

Stay Match Ready with Anti-Redeposition Protection and Lasting Fabric Clarity

Sokalan® HP 20 is a hyperbranched polyethyleneimine (PEI) ethoxylate that delivers multifunctional performance through strong interactions with both surfactants and fabric surfaces. During washing, it helps prevent removed dirt from redepositing onto fabrics while also boosting detergency, enhancing cleaning across particulate and bleachable stains.

By forming polymer–surfactant complexes, Sokalan® HP 20 improves cleaning efficiency and enables a reduction in anionic surfactant levels without compromising performance. It also provides effective soil dispersion and anti-redeposition, helping maintain fabric brightness and clarity over multiple wash cycles. With its high active content of approximately 80%, Sokalan® HP 20 supports formulation compaction, faster dissolution, and strong performance in cold water and concentrated systems. Overall, it acts as a formulation enabler, giving flexibility to balance performance, cost, and sustainability in modern liquid and unit-dose detergents so fabrics continue to look clean, sharp, and well maintained.

As a complementary solution, Sokalan® EcoBoost enhances formulation efficiency by effectively removing body soils and fat stains, particularly hydrophobic soils such as sebum and cooking residues. It delivers strong cleaning performance even at low temperatures while supporting biodegradable, low dosage concentrated formulations.
